Beginners are welcome in all our Edinburgh yoga classes
No matter your experience, all our classes offer modifications for different abilities, including those with injuries or specific conditions. Yoga is for every body—flexibility is not a requirement, rather it is one of the many benefits that develops over time.
With regular practice, you can expect to:

After teaching yoga classes for many years, I have found that students understand yoga poses and yoga concepts better by repeating them. By having a chance to practice a class flow (a sequence of poses) more than once, students feel more confident in their practice and are able to move deeper into their practice, both physically and mentally.
For this reason, I now teach each class flow for 2 or 3 weeks. After the first week of a class sequence, depending on how comfortable students are with the flow of poses, I often add options for progressing their practice by offering more advanced versions of a few of the poses. Students can choose to try the more advanced options or to stay with the original flow. All of this is queued for the students during class so the options are clear.
Do I have to book the whole class block?
Booking by the block is recommended to encourage regular attendance and to enable you to progress your yoga practice. That said, classes can be booked as single one-off classes or with class passes. Make-up classes are also available for clients booked into a block of classes.
