With 28 years of personal practice and 12 years of teaching, yoga has shaped every stage of my life. During a decade in the IT industry, yoga helped calm my busy mind and ease back and neck pain, leading me to later train as a teacher and focus on strength-building and functional movement. Yoga has supported me through pregnancy, motherhood, hypermobility, and three challenging years of Long Covid—playing a vital role in both my physical recovery and mental health.
In my teaching, I aim to help students move well both on and off the mat and to offer practical tools for supporting mental health and self-regulation.
My classes blend creative sequencing, functional movement for everyday life, gorgeous music, and spiral-based movements that expand the possibilities beyond traditional yoga poses.
I have specialist training in Vinyasa Yoga and Pelvic Floor Yoga and am currently undertaking advanced studies in anatomy and Spiral Vinyasa with Dr. Karen Kirkness.

Having dabbled in yoga practice and philosophy since my late teens, my love for yoga deepened when I recognised its assuaging effects on my mental and physical health during the last few years of my undergraduate degree.
Since then, the philosophical, historical and mystical dimensions of yoga have been continuously providing me with perspective on life, and I find that they complement as well as challenge my background in psychology. My own practice has been largely informed by my experiences of yoga as a way to be with anxiety, transitions and uncertainty, by facilitating a deeper understanding of my body and process.
For our practice together, I extend an invitation to find curiosity and introspection as well as strength and ease within ourselves. The process of coming to acquaint our own selves, to me, is one of the most powerful empirical endeavours, tapping into the complex and messy tapestry of human experience, and it is what draws me to my mat again and again. It is through our own lived and embodied experience that we come into relationship with others, and I believe that with a little help from our regular yoga practice we can find a deeper connection within ourselves, find curiosity and perhaps a little safety in our body, which allows us to form richer relationships with others and our environment.
I always strive to teach from a trauma-informed and inclusive perspective, and I intend to create a space that feels safe enough for you to be curious.

Roslyn has been practising yoga for over 10 years and coming to Twist & Bliss classes for over 4 years. She is passionate about yoga philosophy- exploring the physical, mental and spiritual elements of yoga.
Her classes are balanced and include elements of Pranayama, Vinyasa Flow and Meditation. Roslyn’s emphasis on kindness, open mindedness and self-enquiry means classes are suitable for all levels of yoga practitioner.
Each class has a theme, inviting you to carry your yoga practise off the mat and into the rest of your week.
I began my yoga journey in 2014 at the age of 31, seeking personal growth while working in the marketing department of a large tech company. What started as a path of self-development quickly became a lifelong passion for movement, mindfulness, and supporting others in their own well-being.
Since then, I’ve completed 500 hours of teacher training—including my 200-hour RYT certification and 300 hours of continuing education—and have accumulated over 1,000 hours of teaching experience. My training spans a wide range of styles, including Hatha, Yin, Flow, Restorative, Prenatal Yoga, Baby Yoga, and Baby Massage. I also specialise in Pregnancy Yoga, Kids and Carer Yoga, Yoga for Cancer, and nurturing parent-and-baby practices.
My classes focus on alignment, mindful breathwork, and flowing sequences that help students build strength, stability, and ease. I also teach gentle, therapeutic, and recovery-focused sessions, adapting movements based on each participant’s health and needs.
Above all, I strive to create a warm, inclusive environment where every student—whether new or experienced—can grow at their own pace. Yoga continues to inspire me daily, and I feel privileged to share its benefits with individuals and families at every stage of life.
