In Flow Yoga classes, also known as Vinyasa Yoga, poses are linked together in a dynamic, flowing sequence that builds strength, flexibility and balance. We coordinate our breath with our movement which facilitates a fluid, focused and stable practice, and creates a moving meditation. Class includes meditative breathwork (pranayama), a physical warm up, our flowing sequence of poses to strengthen and open the body, a cool down and finally deep rest.
Faster-paced than Flow classes, in power yoga classes there is more opportunity to improve cardiovascular fitness , build muscle, tone and sculpt the body, and challenge yourself physically and mentally through more advanced class sequences. We explore poses and flows that develop more strength, flexibility, fitness and focus. This class provides the most challenge physically so bring water and expect to sweat!
Similar to Flow Yoga classes, poses are linked together in a flowing sequence to strengthen and open the body however with Flow & Restore, we move at a slower pace and leave time for restorative yoga poses during the latter phase of class. Restorative yoga is especially helpful for those looking to calm their nervous system.

After teaching yoga classes for many years, I have found that students understand yoga poses and yoga concepts better by repeating them. By having a chance to practice a class flow (a sequence of poses) more than once, students feel more confident in their practice and are able to move deeper into their practice, both physically and mentally.
For this reason, I now teach each class flow for 2 or 3 weeks. After the first week of a class sequence, depending on how comfortable students are with the flow of poses, I often add options for progressing their practice by offering more advanced versions of a few of the poses. Students can choose to try the more advanced options or to stay with the original flow. All of this is queued for the students during class so the options are clear.
Do I have to book the whole class block?
Booking by the block is recommended to encourage regular attendance and to enable you to progress your yoga practice. That said, classes can be booked as single one-off classes or with class passes. Make-up classes are also available for clients booked into a block of classes.
