It is a myth that we must be flexible to do Yoga. We do not arrive to Yoga with perfect bodies. Through breath and mindful movement we move our bodies and our minds toward wholeness and healing, and we learn to accept ourselves as we are each day.

Welcome! I'm Roxanna, owner of Twist & Bliss Yoga.

I have been practicing yoga for 25 years and teaching for more than a decade.  Whether you are looking for beginners yoga or you have been practicing for many years, I would love to welcome you to my yoga classes in the Davidson's Mains area of Edinburgh.

  • All classes include a mixture of student levels.  
  • Options are offered during each class to make yoga postures accessible at various levels.

I have found that students feel more confident and are able to move deeper into their practice, both physically and mentally, by attending classes regularly and by practicing class sequences more than once. 


For this reason, I highly recommend you book a class block if your schedule allows.  

How my classes are different

Consistency and Progression


  • By booking in blocks, students consistently attend classes which enables me to know students and their bodies
  • I am therefore able to craft classes that cater to students needs and that are progressive.  
  • I don't teach one-size-fits-all classes.  You will be able meet yourself where you are today and the options in class help move you toward your next level.  
  • Students become stronger and more flexible month upon month and year upon year.


Pelvic Floor Expertise


  • For both women and men, pelvic floor dysfunction can be at the root of back pain, sciatica, incontinence and more.    Yes, dysfunction can arise due to pregnancy, but pelvic floor dysfunction can also come about by sitting all day, as many modern people do, women and men. 
  • Having trained in Pelvic Floor Yoga and used both yoga and pilates to correct my own pelvic floor dysfunction, I have unique expertise and experience that informs the way that I teach yoga.  


More than a class, this is a community.  


  • Because most  students attend the same class times each week they are able to get to know each other and many look forward to seeing one another.  
  • This gives our classes a wonderful community feel where students feel connected to each other and their wider community while consistently progressing in their yoga practice.
